OSH Policy

OSH Policy

Safety is a shared responsibility at UCPI. We maintain a documented Occupational Safety & Health Policy (Rev 1/2026), aligned with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and the Factories and Machinery Act 1967, overseen by an active Safety and Health Committee that meets regularly to monitor performance and hear from workers directly. On the plant floor, this means machine guarding and interlock devices on production machinery, required PPE (safety boots, gloves, eye and hearing protection, and respiratory protection where needed), and maintained fire extinguishers, first-aid stations and evacuation procedures. The policy is reviewed at least annually alongside our sustainability reporting cycle and is approved by Top Management, who are accountable for its implementation at every level of the company.
